Without question, older adults everywhere choose to remain at home as long and as safely as possible. Home can be defined in many ways; a senior apartment, an assisted living building, an adult child's home, or someone's own home.
The good news: the home care industry that provides personal services and/or medical assistance to older adults (and many others) have experienced unprecedented growth, enabling many older adults to remain independent at home!
The "not-so-good" news is that providers of all kinds and levels of quality emerged to meet these escalating demands for home care services. Quality of care became a critical concern. |
We Encourage and Assist
Our caregivers provide help at home that includes personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, errands, and incidental transportation to religious services, social events,
and medical appointments.
Private duty care is available also in nursing homes or hospitals. |
We Do The Paperwork
A Genesis caregiver is our employee. We assume all the responsibilities of handling taxes, benefits, scheduling, insurance and worker's compensation. All we require of you is prompt payment of our invoices sent
weekly. |
We Assist The Family
We assist the family with decisions regarding medical equipment and supplies. Our staff can provide total nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
A complete and confidential chart is prepared from the information you supply to our director. This facilitates continuity of care. All scheduling of employees is done by Genesis personnel. |

Good Morning—Good Night Program
Morning and/or Evening, to Help Start the Day
and to "Tuck-In" at Night
Includes:
A visit in the morning to assist with those
"hard-to-get-moving" morning activities:

Help out of bed
- Bathing and assistance with personal care
- Grooming (hair, oral hygiene, etc..)
- Breakfast preparations
- Skin care, nail care
- Change of bed linens
- Medication reminder
And a visit in the evening to help prepare for bed:
- Personal care
- Evening snack
- Medication reminder
Home Sweet Home Program
Especially Designed for Those That Need Assistance,
But Want to Stay in His or Her Own Home.
Includes:
- Assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing
- Check vital signs
- Oral hygiene, shaving, hair and skin care
- Change and make bed
- Assistance with exercise program
- Medication reminders and assistance
- Assistance with transferring and walking
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry / Ironing
- Meal preparation and clean-up
- Shopping errand assistance
- Accompaniment to doctor’s appointments
- General companionship (play games, share a cup of coffee, etc.)
The "Homemaker" Program
Designed for those who like some assistance
with those household chores that have become
"too much" to handle on their own . . . and those
that would love a home-cooked meal!
One of our Homemakers will travel to your home to provide:
- Light housekeeping
- Menu planning
- Clean cupboards
- Iron
- Take out trash
- Pet care
- Companionship
(Additional charge for heavy housecleaning)
